How safe is this bit torrent stuff? I totally enjoyed that short film, "blue" that we reviewed and wanted to download some BSG.
Will my C get viruses and spyware/adware?

Submitted by SadGeezer on Mon, 16/10/2006 - 13:58.You can get lots of good and bad stuff on bit torrent. The issue with using it is that you are breaking the rules of copyright and it's considered very bad if you use bit torrent for software or music.
The virus thing can be a worry, but if you are downloading normal TV shows then this normally isn't a problem.
Bit torrent is mostly used to download TV shows and films, the quality isn't always very good (especially for films) but for TV shows it's GREAT!
You can use bit torrent if your consience allows it. :)

I recommend the uTorrent client and the bittorrent sites: Mininova, TorrentSpy, ISOhunt and possibly PirateBay
