This "Project X" will most probably be a work in progress, as I am shelving it out of security issues..... The idea behind "Project X" was to have a series of pictures tell the sci-fi story (like you find in books on photography). I was very excited about this project, I knew just what the subject was to be. I was going to produce a series of photos depicting myself in front of various "necessary" services; the idea was that if anyone found the photo series to be a "sci-fi thriller" then they were bigots because the photos were innocuous - the only connecting icon is the "Arab" looking guy..... However.....talking to several people has convinced me that I do not want to wake up at 2:30 in the morning with a MP5 submachine gun pointed at my head from some "organization". There as been much "bitching" over censorship on this board.....how about this situation. What to do.....I have my principles and do not want to back down out of fear..... Since this forum allows you to post incomplete works-in-progress; I have decided to show you the project up till the present time. It may be started up again at a later time and completed.....or it may just be a "time capsule" showing how present day prejudice has influenced cultural expression in our day. In that respect; this thread is valuable in this forum.
