I just got the DVD set..

sigh.. I finally broke down and bought the DVD set to Crusade. I mostly got it for the directors commentary and extras. The series never made much sense to me. The makers of Starwreck got it right when bester said "Who would design such a stupid ship". I'm in full agreement here. After watching the first extra feature.. a commentary with the director, writer and some of the cast.. made me sick. Crap like "My friends hate science fiction but really liked my work on this episode". Don't you think if your "Friends" got into your episode, there might be something wrong with it?? The term "Science Fiction" has really lost its meaning these days. What is clearly Fantasy Fiction is being called Sci-Fi. There isn't anything SCIENCE to Crusade. .. and yet I will continue to the next DVD. GENE
